Legacy Hall
The Equal Justice Initiative challenged our design team to renovate an old Montgomery Water Works facility into a hall where visitors could meet or enjoy a meal. The renovation included the addition of one meeting room for large gatherings, two smaller meeting rooms, and a catering kitchen. New finishes were designed throughout the building while great effort was made to retain the building’s historic charm. Extensive restoration was done to the existing wooden truss and flooring systems. Additionally, the building was retrofitted with upgraded mechanical, engineering, and plumbing systems to accommodate visitors.
