Trussville Civic Center

Serving Trussville's growing community with everything it needs to support an active and healthy lifestyle.

Designed alongside the new Hewitt-Trussville High School, the new civic center was a huge boon for the growing Trussville community. The 67,500-sf facility was designed to accommodate large community events with an auditorium and exhibition hall that seat 1,000. It's supported by a full-sized kitchen and six meeting rooms, each with the technology needed to support a variety of uses.

The fitness center includes a weight training room, a cardio and fitness room, a spin room, and locker rooms. Above the two-court gymnasium, an indoor track allows runners and walkers alike to beat the summer heat or the cold winter. The Davis team designed this flexible, one-story structure to complement the adjacent award-winning high school.

In 2014, the Davis team was brought back on to study the possibility of adding a new outdoor pool complex. The future facility was designed to include an 8-lane competition pool, splash park, covered dining and concessions, and ample lounge spaces.
