Digital Media Center

Utilizing the latest in innovative technology to prepare students for professional roles in the mass communication industry.

In 2013, the Digital Media Center opened in previously unoccupied shell space of the Bryant-Denny Stadium North End Zone Expansion. This 50,000 sf project serves as the home to four professional media outlets including university-owned WVUA 23, Alabama Public Radio, the Center for Public Television, and Crimson Tide Productions. These collaborative spaces feature the latest in broadcast technology and modern studios which host coaches' shows, local news, and other school-sponsored programming. Other than the broadcasting studios, the facility houses multiple audio and video production suites and staff offices.
